Sorry for not commenting on each part separately, I just had to read it all. You wrote a wonderful, layered story; got a great talent. I especially loved their characterizations & interactions; Peter's reaction to what he'd done - that he was willing to back Neal up if he wanted to press charges, it said a lot; that El was there all the time and didn't give up on them; and how they kept on trying to make it work.
