I have no willpower. And thus: am going to take part in the Merry Month of Masturbation

But, um, first: I have an embarrassing question. What, exactly, counts as masturbation? Where's the line between mutual masturbation and sex? Is it no contact with a partner at all? What about taking directions from a partner? Does frottage count? What about one partner pinching the masturbating partner's nipples? Help me! I am confused. :-/

I think the rules on the comm are very relaxed, which is great! I think the definition of mutual masturbation tripped me up, b/c I'd never thought of giving someone else a handjob as masturbation.

The way I read it, taking directions from a partner is okay, but frottage is definitely sexual contact, not masturbation. Pinching nipples sounds like it would be okay... I'm thinking no direct genital contact means it's okay, but once you start touching each other's primary naughty bits, that crosses the line. xD

I was with you on thinking jacking someone else wouldnt count, because I actually asked (you'd never guess) my grandfather what 'masturbate' meant when I was like thirteen years old... I think the mods have a pretty loose definition of masturbation. I'd personally say it should probably involve self-stimulation in some respect at least, so I wouldn't include partnered frottage on its own (although there could be instances of masturbation leading to frottage). And I think that any form of partnered masturbation should be fine. :)

But in my experience, partnered masturbation is usually more fun if you lay next to each other, facing each other, and pleasuring yourselves, and only occasionally 'tweaking' the other person.
