I was really, really worried about how they were going to handle Neal's grief while keeping the USA 'blue sky' theme going - I think they handled it beautifully.

He so totally did. And then Peter professed his when he was talking to El. AND THEN THEY BICKERED LIKE A MARRIED COUPLE. And then USA went to a commercial break while they were kissing and making up...
