My Mother: Okay, so, before the second episode, Eliot must have had some great sex. He's so smiley!

Me: Maybe he's just happy that they're all back together!

My Mother: Or maybe that Mossad agent came back and they did it.

Me: Mother, I love you.

Lemme just say, I don't think Eliot and Nate could have been any more flirty over those last two episodes. I just want to smish them together. Over and over again.

The end.

SERIOUSLY! As hard as I ship Alec/Parker/Eliot, there was some serious Eliot/Nate magic happening. Especially in the first ep.

*happy sigh*

OH, SHOW.

*smooshes it*

Also, SERIOUSLY. How many fandoms do we share? Leverage, Doctor Who, Star Trek, White Collar, Numb3rs - am I forgetting any?

OMG I know! This is getting kinda spooky now.

Are you into Torchwood? What about Firefly? I'd be willing to bet that there are other fandoms we overlap in. Which just goes to show that awesome shows have awesome fen.

*smishes*

I've watched all of TW except for COE. And I LOVE Firefly (another show love that I share with my mother!). LESSE. What are your thoughts on Bones, Friday Night Lights, and Psych?

Okay, whew! We finally diverge somewhere, but ONLY A LITTLE.

See, Bones and Psych are shows I know I WOULD love if only there more than 24 hours in the day and I didn't have a powerful need to sleep and a requirement to work to pay the bills (ie, if I had the time to get into them). The same goes for Criminal Minds. Friday Night Lights never interested me, but I see why it interests so many others.

Given where we do align, I think there's some kind of fandom rule that I have to marry you now. Or something. Because clearly two such fandom compatible people would be compatible in other ways. :D

See, Bones and Psych and even CM (after season 3) have become shows-I-watch-when-doing-other-things, but I still <3 them. I feel you on just not having enough time, though! I've got a bunch of shows that I've been wanting to watch/catch up on for AGES.

FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS, HOWEVER, IS SIMPLY THE BEST TV THAT'S EVER TV'D IN THE HISTORY OF TEEVEE.

I think we might be fandom-engaged. But to love me is to love Tim Riggins (on FNL, played by the "HOMG R U SRSLY TH@ HOTT" Taylor Kitch). Maybe we should try counseling...

For you, my fandom finacee, I have added FNL Season 1 to my Netflix Watch Instantly queue. :D I trust your judgment. If you've steered me wrong, there will be consequences (the good kind though, I'll just have to do naughty things to you).

Well, now, see, with THAT kind of incentive, I'm just going to have to start recommending HORRIBLE SHOWS. Like. Um. Wifeswap. GO WATCH THAT.

(Also, fair warning - it took me up until the end of the fifth episode to really fall in love with FNL. But after I got to that episode, I pulled an all-nighter and watched the entire rest of the first season. ALSO, ALDIS HODGE TOTALLY SHOWS UP AND IS A BADASS AND LOOMS AT PEOPLE. JUST SO YOU KNOW.)

LMAO. Have I mentioned that I love your brain? Because I DO.

Also, have you seen the Taco Bell commercial with Aldis Hodge? Because it fucks with my brain EVERY TIME. My first reaction is WTF is Hardison doing working at Taco Bell?

I'm sure it's just a sneaky preview for the upcoming ep, "The Two-Dollar Job." Parker works the drive-thru window, Eliot cleans the tables, Sophie's the manager, and Nate has a combover. Just 'cause he looks awesome with one (like from the Fairy Godparents Job).

You know, I don't ship much with Nate, but Nate strapped into the dentist's chair with Eliot being all threatening? That has sex!fic written all over it.

I wish I could get a handle on the characters for fic in Leverage. Mostly, I think, I'd write a bunch of femslash. Any combination of Parker/Sophie/Tara. Mmm. Maybe that's what's keeping me back, since I don't do a lot of femslash.

But, yes. Your mom is awesome. That's the sort of thing I'd say to my mom, and she'd just roll her eyes at me. :D

See, I just - I can't picture Sophie with anyone but Nate. I can picture Nate with other people, but Sophie - she's been carrying that torch for SO LONG!

AND, YES. DENTIST CHAIR = THANK YOU, SHOW. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU.

I do like Sophie/Nate. I think the Sophie/Tara aspect would be best pre-series. When whatever happened where Tara owed her happened. And Parker is just so obviously... not bi, I don't think that's the right word for her, just... unaware of certain things, and I think gender would be one of those things she doesn't see. Like how she doesn't get most emotions, lol. But when you have a character like that, it's hard for me to not want to ship like crazy.

Besides, the scene with Parker and Tara and Parker is explaining how the fall in the air shaft won't kill you, but breaking your legs and starving to death will? This, strangely to me, screamed DELICIOUS FEMSLASH, TAKE ME NOW. Even more so than Parker being just as interested in seeing Tara naked as Eliot was.

I rewatched the finale, and Parker dangling Tara over the edge of the building...I CAN SEE FROM WHERE YOU ARE COMING.

But yeah, Parker is so...Parker. I think that's kind of why I like reading her in a threesome - it gives her room to be, y'know. Parker. THE SCENE WITH THE POSING AHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! Oh, show. ♥

AND YOU ARE SO RIGHT ABOUT PARKER OOGLING TARA.

I think that's it. You could tell Eliot was not happy with what happened at the end of last season.
