JOHN CARTER OF TAYLOR KITSCH TRAILER
Dec. 1st, 2011 02:28 pmOH MY GAH OH MY GAH OH MY GAH
New trailer! *dies* This is John Carter of Mars, directed by Andrew Stanton (of Wall-E), starring Willem Dafoe, Lynn Collins (who was in X-Men: Origins which was so bad I usually pretend that it didn't happen but Taylor Kitsch was in it too, and also she's married to Steven Strait who was in The Covenant with Taylor Kitsch AND BASICALLY THREESOME RITE?), and most importantly, the title role is played by the mancrush of my soul,Tim Riggins Taylor Kitsch.
He was in Friday Night Lights. It's the best television show ever made. He is heartbreaking and gorgeous and surprising and sweaty all over that shit yo.
I'm going to porn so hard for this movie, it ain't even comprehensible. I LOVE IT ALL OVER LOTS.
Also: my lips have the sin is now up on AO3, so it's easier to navigate (although I did fix my html links on the LJ version, thanks guys for letting me know it was wonky! :D) and you can download it to readers and things.
I am getting sick, but it's okay because I have nothing to do until Monday night (and then I'm completely booked, like every minute, until next Saturday). It's a weird semester. *sneeze* I'm surrounded by so many tissues right now that my bed is starting to look like an avant garde wedding dress...

I am so proud to have played a small part in bringing My Lips Have the Sin to life. It is perhaps the most heartbreaking and uplifting story in this fandom.
I understand you're Grimming now. I am thinking about a certain prompt to leave on the kink meme there.

Date: 2011-12-02 07:04 pm (UTC)Now, a query...
OK. So if somebody knows ABSOLUTELY NOTHING about White Collar (other than there's a guy, who was in jail, and then got out of jail by agreeing to apply his criminal expertise on the side of the good), but still has a burning need to read My Lips Have The Sin, will they be able to follow along? I NEED TO KNOW THIS.
Seriously, I reactivated Netflix for you. I was going to watch White Collar episodes on my ipad whilst working out only to discover White Collar IS NOT ON NETFLIX. I have been watching Avengers cartoons instead (seriously, what's with all the guy-liner Tony??)
But. It's there. On AO3. Only one TINY click away form being on my ereader.
CAN I DO THIS, BB?
Should I do this??

Date: 2011-12-02 11:16 pm (UTC)OK. So, your question is adorable and hilarious, and I have a two-part answer:
1) You can totes read it knowing only the premise of White Collar. If you've seen the pilot, or can download it (I can PM/email you a megaupload link!), that will provide the most salient/aesthetic/thematic information that I draw from.
2) It's totes up on Netflix now. They added it, like, last week. First two seasons, baby! \o/
Oh gosh I hope you like it if you read it!!!
Also: DUDE. I STILL HAVE NOT FOUND A GOOD DOWNLOAD/STREAMING COPY OF THOR. I have watched a crappy cam version twice, and now I might actually buy it, that is how into the Avengers you have made me, you fisting-writing-goddess.

It's probably for the best.
IN SUMMARY:
-YAY for feeling better (and tea!)
-Netflix Canada has no White Collar. Boo.
-Imma say fuck it and read the story, but if I get confuzzled:
-I may be able to bribe BFF Brett with beer to download and watch the pilot with me
-If this happens, I magically UNLOCK all the delicious unread porn in your journal that's been taunting me since we met. Like an Xbox achievement. With Buttsecks.
-Thor was... not my favourite. But Loki is fun and Chris Helmsworth is PRETTY.
-Tony Stark is fucking awesome.
Yeah. And this is the short version.
I may be over-caffeinated and underslept.
