Kay, so I went and changed my password just so I could comment on this. I just read all four of them...and OMG EWOHFIQRWEFBUEBWQUFBQWUF. That is my reaction.
You are a fantastic writer, really. You make me want to start crying but at the same time, wrap my arms around Kid!Neal and never let go. It really interests me when people consider what Neal's childhood is like. As far as I've gotten in the series, he hasn't spoken too much about it. But I have to say that the thought that maybe Neal's childhood was abusive (sob) makes sense to me. All Neal's trust issues and stuff, and his reluctance to talk about his past.
Anyway. These stories are so amazing. They make me want to smack Neal's old mom, and then Peter and El can just hug Neal and reassure him that he is perfect, being different is okay, they aren't going to hurt him.
Gah. Getting emotional. Yah. Basically, I love you.
Oh, and you should write more of these. Just saying.
