Question for those of you with iPhones: Is the iPhone 4S worth the extra money, instead of getting an iPhone 4? Do you actually use Siri? I think I'd get the upgrade mostly for the camera (which, dudes, the amount of photos I lost with my old phone is ridiculous).

Sorry about your phone. I have a 4s that I think is wonderful, but I went from an iPhone 3 which had a shattered screen for the last two months of its life, so anything would have been an improvement over the shards of glass in my fingers every time I used it!

This isn't the dyslexia fic no, this is the kinkmeme fill I thought I could just dash off before I knuckles down to the dyslexia fic *headdesk*. It's amtdi. How was I supposed to resist??

Date: 2012-06-19 05:45 pm (UTC)I don't...use Siri at all, really. I don't know if it's worth it unless you use it for directions and things/live in a big city, which I don't. (Though it might come in handy on trips.) And there's a map function anyway and other apps, so...
Oh, I recommend the LIFEPROOF iphone case. It's less bulky than some other cases, and I am freaking clumsy and drop my phone a lot. (My old one was out of the case when I broke it.) It's also waterproof for short periods.

I use siri some. Not like all the time, but some. When I'm walking back to my car I'll tell it to text so-and-so and tell them I'm on my way, or set reminders for stuff I randomly think of, etc. It's handy to keep yourself from texting and walking. I sometimes ask it to find food near me as well.

The guy at the store said that of the phones being upgraded that have no damage which he sees, most had that kind of case(and it was the same price as all the other cases they had, so I don't think he was lying). Just another option :)
