Some recs and rambles. :D

Oh, life.

Last night I read "Visiting Hours" by rageprufrock. And apparently I should still be avoiding hospital fics. Especially ones about parents in the hospital. It is an incredible story, wonderfully written, a sequel to another amazing story, and I cried through the majority of it. If you're into Smallville and haven't read them yet, and have many tissues at the ready: GO AND READ.

In other news, I have officially decided: THAT I AM GOING TO GRAD SCHOOL. I got accepted, I spent a lot of days debating back and forth (should I go? Should I wait? Are other programs that much better? ETC ETC ETC ETC ETC ETC ETC), then yesterday I got into a conversation with one of my mom's friends about feminist interpretations of Greek tragedy and realized that: YES. I should be going to school for theatre, because it is indeed the thing I love most in the world.

I'm going out of town today and will be without internet AND 3G all weekend. *mourns* IT IS GONNA SUCK. And then I'll be travelling again with only intermittent internet access until Wednesday night. I'm hoping that I'll still get a lot of writing done, but I will be so behind on reading!
