HEY HEY HEY GUESS WHAT?

Lynn Collins (who I loved in The Merchant of Venice) is married to Steven Strait (who I loved in Sky High and The Covenant) and is going to be starring in John Carter of Mars with Taylor Kitsch WHO WAS ALSO IN THE COVENANT.

Seriously, Steven and Kitsch were totally eyesexing throughout the entirety of The Covenant, and now Taylor's going to get movie-married to the man's gorgeous, talented wife.

John Carter's not getting released until 2012, but when it does, I AM GOING TO BE SO READY FOR IT.

They're making a John Carter movie? OMG. That could be so, so awesome or so, so faily. I guess we'll see. Why are they not beginning with A Princess? Or are they, and they've changed the title?

THEY TOTALLY ARE. Pixar's behind it - it's directed (and written?) by Andrew Stanton (of Wall-E fame, this'll be his live-action debut). And yeah, based off the first book, but w/ a new title.

I AM SO EXCITED. I wasn't that blown away by the book, but I love Stanton and Kitsch and Collins (AND BRYAN CRANSTON), so I am sure that it will be amazing!

I think I may actually just pass out from excitement when it finally gets released...

So wonderful to find someone who knows who John Carter is!

I loved Strait and Kitsch in The Covenant. Their characters were the only ones that had girlfriends and still, they were the slashiest. I mean, the bad guy went after Pogue to hurt Caleb! And the scene in the hospital... Man!

You know, I always wondered what the baddie did to Pogue. He didn't seem all that beaten to me in the hospital. I got this plot bunny hopping in my head that the baddie raped Pogue to degrade him and to hit Caleb where it would hurt most - I mean, the baddie did like to touch Caleb awful lot!
