Notes: So, when I first got into Grimm, I did so becauserabidchild67 was into it, and I fangirl her. Once I caught up on eps, I snuck into the meme, and filled a prompt anonymously just to get my feet wet--and it turned out to be one of her prompts, because of how she is funny and wonderful. ♥
Summary/Prompt: Nick seems to owe Monroe a lot of the time. Monroe will take payment in sex now, please.

"You want me to come with you to chase a what now?"
"It's not a big deal, Monroe! It's barely poisonous at all--"
"How poisonous is barely exactly?"
"--and there's only the three of them and I already shot one of them twice, and I've got these sword--javelin--the Electra things?--from Aunt Marie's trailer, so really, it'll probably only take an hour or two."
"There are how many of them? And you shot one twice and it didn't die? No wonder the Grimms are going extinct, you're all fucking nuts."
"Please, Monroe?"
And the thing is, Monroe's used to working without backup. He's been on his own about as long as Nick's been alive. Nick's not used to it yet; he can hear Nick's nerves in the hesitant breath that follows his question. Nick would ask Hank—Hank, who eats BBQ sandwiches and wears Old Spice and leaves his scent all over Nick whenever they spend a day together--but Nick doesn't trust Hank enough.
Nick trusts Monroe.
"Okay, fine. But you owe me."
"I'm a public servant, Monroe, I barely make enough to support myself. I can't keep slipping you cash."
"I also accept sexual favors," he says, with as much of a leer as he can manage while pulling a sweater over his head (it’s the brown patchwork one that he doesn't like very much, because nights with Nick always seem to end with both of them covered in mud and sometimes also blood, and not in the fun way), and then Nick says okay. Says okay to sexual favors--says okay to sexual favors with Monroe--
He drops his keys but manages to hold on to his phone. "You--wait, seriously?"
Nick laughs. "Um--well, were you serious?"
Monroe's leaving his house at one in the morning because Nick needs him, even though it's dangerous, even though it's stupid, even though the scent of Nick will follow him throughout the rest of his day like an irritating ghost and oh. Oh, what if he could bring Nick home with him? Nick who takes up too much space and knocks all of his fragile belongings out of place, Nick who smells like gun powder and dust and his girlfriend's perfume, light and sweet.
He could bring Nick home and strip him bare and make him scream, fuck him until he smells like Monroe and nothing else, come and sweat and possession. His bed would smell like Nick and Nick would smell like Monroe--god, yes--"Yes."
