hoosierbitchOkay, so, the deadline for hc_bingo isn't until December, so I'm not being THAT crazy, signing up for two bingos at once. Probably. I think. And kink_bingo lets you post until next summer (with a 'post SOMETHING' deadline in August) so, really, it's absolutely doable. Ish. I CAN TOTALLY DO THIS.
IT IS H/C BINGO. THERE IS NO WAY I AM NOT PLAYING.
See, okay. Because, like, here's the thing.
The one kink of mine that I haven't really talked about on here (but that you've probably already figured out!) is hurt/comfort. Er, well - I've talked about it as a genre, but not so much about it as a kink. And it is a real, honest-to-god kink for me. And not just a narrative kink, not just a genre preference - good h/c makes me CLENCH. Vulnerability, insecurity, emotional pain, angst - when done right - makes my lady parts go WHEE! Gimme someone cowering in a corner, whipped and terrified, and my body just goes UNF. I don't know why. BUT IT DOES.
THIS IS LIKE HAVING TWO KINK BINGOS. AT THE SAME TIME.

This is my card! I will probably try and do a horizontal line through the center (self-harm, bites, wild card, burns, and loss of voice). But I will keep coming back to this card until the deadline. Because, like. Dude. Imprisonment? Isolation? SEXUAL EXTORTION? I LIKE.
I know I, like, JUST did a prompt drive. BUT I WOULD LOVE SOME MORE. (BTW - if you feel like you still have kinky prompts you want to share, that post is here - I will keep using those prompts for inspiration until I've gotten to a black-out!)
I realized, when reposting my work to AO3, that the vast majority of my work comes from other people's prompts. I can't promise to write for a specific prompt (sometimes I do promise and then FAIL, because I'm still sort of feeling out how my writing process works, and, well,sometimes I just suck). But odds are, the fics that I do write will come from these prompts.
ANYWAY - you can request a card on DW, or on LJ (pick the one where you want to post your content). Here is the list of cliches that the squares are coming from (you can ask to have up to THREE excluded from your card).

Date: 2010-06-09 06:14 pm (UTC)I would really like to see you do something with insanity or brain damage -- either one I think you would take an interesting look at and really make it chillingly real!
Because whumping Neal makes me happy <3 I think doing something with him related to those would be especially chilling because he's so smart and then to have his mind fail him - the one thing that has always been there- would be devastating not only to him as he realized it happening but to Peter and Mozzie and whoever else you want to write around him.
It could be as cliched as Neal getting kidnapped and tortured/abused and unable to hang on to his sanity in the face of it temporarily - or it could be illness/accident related (bonus if peter can construe it as his own fault even if it's not).
I am also really excited to see your take on Selfharm - there is so much that can be done here and I think you could do so much with that prompt <3 (wow it would work for anyone really <3 but I am so selfish I want to read it about neal or bryce or arthur(for a twist) <3 )
Also one more thing <3 I think bites would be fun if it was an animal bite or sting -- hornet or wasp allergy can be disasterous and frightening for everyone involved, animal attacks or bites can be upsetting and scary and brutal depending on what animal. I mean look at the Merlin fandom with all those crazy magical creatures all kinds of bites are possible :D

And, well, there always the good ol' fashioned kidnapped/tortured cliche. *happy sigh*
No idea what I'm going to do for self-harm, yet. O.o
And thanks for the bites prompt, too! Oh, Merlin. YOU ARE SO FULL OF CRACKY WONDERFUL BITING MAGICAL CREATURES.
